There is a pretty major football coming up this weekend. Now, I will admit, I can’t even tell you who is playing in the Super Bowl this year. I’m not one to get into the sports. But I will tell you what I am into…..a THEME PARTY!! I can throw a theme party with the best of them, EVEN if it has to do with the football.

All week, I’ll be posting recipes that are perfect for the upcoming event. Now, let’s talk cheese. All parties involved cheese dishes. Or should I say they SHOULD involve cheese dishes. Let’s step away from the velveeta and canned tomatoes and chilis and elevate that a bit, shall we.

This Baked Fontina takes simple ingredients and broils them. In a matter of a few minutes, you have a delicious appetizer that looks and tastes like it was much harder than it actually is.
