Easter is coming up quick! Has anyone waited to the last minute to put together their kids Easter baskets? Just me? We will literally be in the middle of moving when Easter happens this year, so I am trying to get on this now, so I am not just throwing crap into the basket in the middle of our crazy. There are 3 elements to build the ultimate Easter baskets for your littles. You need a basket, goodies (toys, gifts and happies, as we call them here in the South) and treats. As I was looking for gifts for my own littles, I decided to put together a list for you to help inspire some great ideas for your own littles.
Affiliate links are used in my post. What does that mean? If you purchase through my link I will receive a small commission and it doesn’t change the price for you at all! However, I only ever recommend products/services that I absolutely LOVE and use myself or would use myself! If you choose to support me through purchasing through my links, it allows me to continue to bring you info that you enjoy and hopefully use. So I thank you for any and all support.

The Gifts
These are the toys, goodies and happies we gather to fill our baskets. I try really hard to avoid throwing crappy little toys in the baskets just for the sake of filling it. We all know what I am talking about. It the toys you get on the party favor aisle at Target. The little items they play with for 6 hours and then they end up in the trash. Nobody needs anymore of that in their life. For the babies, a sweet rattle or stuffed bunny are perfect little items. For the toddlers into big kids, crayons or Easter themed coloring posters are great and things they can use to be creative and keep busy with. Bubbles or musical items are always fun for the littles. I like to throw in Easter themed books or a Bible, too. See below for some cute ideas to help inspire your Easter baskets.

The Treats
Arguably the most important part of the Easter Basket. We have come a long way from Plastic eggs filled with generic jelly beans. Of course there are the classics like Reese’s Eggs, Cadbury eggs and Peeps that are a must, but there are also some great elevated option out there, too like any Hammonds candy. Their product are great and have a ton of Easter options. You can even add treats that aren’t candy like Favorite Day “Bunny Bait” Trail mix (my fav) or Easter themed pretzel rods. Try Yum Earth Jelly Beans for an organic option.
