Ingredients for Mini Mummies

RECIPE:

STEP 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

STEP 2: Unroll the crescent roll dough and smash the perforations together. Side note: Pillsbury makes full sheets of crescent roll dough with no perforations now, which I should have bought.

STEP 3: Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut skinny strips (about 1/4″) out of crescent roll dough.

STEP 4: Wrap each strip around a smoked sausage. Stretch the strip out a bit when wrapping. That way it will stay thin and not puff up too much while cooking that it won’t even look like a mummy.

STEP 5: Bake mummies for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
