PomPoms are still hot on the street this year. I’ve seen them around in many stores like Anthropologie as well as a lot of local spots. Last year I made the Pompom Trees I was seeing EVERYWHERE and I am still seeing poms used in many different ways. Mostly garland, ornaments and WREATHS! Since I had do much success with my Raffia Fall Wreath, I decided to turn the trendy look into another wreath for my entry way.
See below for how I turned the trendy pompoms into a pretty Christmas Wreath.
Affiliate links are used in my post. What does that mean? If you purchase through my link I will receive a small commission and it doesn’t change the price for you at all! However, I only ever recommend products/services that I absolutely LOVE and use myself or would use myself! If you choose to support me through purchasing through my links, it allows me to continue to bring you info that you enjoy and hopefully use. So I thank you for any and all support.
Supplies:
Yarn
Foam Ring
Glue Gun
Pom Pom Maker
Scissors
Instructions:
STEP 1: Make pompoms out of yarn of your choice. I used the Pom Pom Maker this time and it went so quick and so much easier than a fork. i made some bigger ones and some small ones.
STEP 2: Use a glue gun to apply glue to the foam and place a pompom on top and let dry. Repeat until you get all around the foam circle. I interchanged big and small to give it a little depth.
That’s it! It take a little time to make the pom poms (I made mine while watching a Hallmark Christmas Movie), but once they are made, it takes not time to put together.
Not into making your own wreaht? I get it, it’s a busy time. Be sure to Check out wreath over on Day 1 of 12 Days of Christmas: Modern Christmas Decor to Spread Holiday Cheer
