Donuts Are My Love Language RECIPES

BAKED OREO DONUTS

It’s Donut Week!! Ok. I might have made that up but Friday is National Donut Day, so I going to be bring YOU some of my favorite donut recipes ALL WEEK? Who is excited??

We are starting off with a baked donut. I feel like baked donuts are an easier introduction into the world of donuts. They don’t require frying and tend to be healthier. All it requires is a donut pan which you can get at Target, Sur la Table, Amazon or any store that sells kitchen goods. Also, Oreo’s. Seriously, is there anyone in the world who doesn’t love them? Not only are they delicious on their own, but even better when used to make a plethora of desserts. You can see my chocolate covered Oreo posts here, here & here.

Why not mix the beloved Oreo with a donut?? These are so yummy and taste just like that tasty little cookie!

STEP 12: Add confectioners’ sugar and vanilla and beat until smooth.

STEP 13: Add a little milk at a time until the icing is the correct consistency. You want it to be pourable, but still thick.

STEP 14: Dip each donut half way into the icing. Place on a wax paper or wire rack to dry.
