Y’all know I love a charcuterie board! I also live and breathe for a good theme. So, why not combine my love of party foods and ALL things charcuterie with a the theme for July 4th. I feel like Independence Day is one of those holidays we celebrate that goes over the top with its thematic decorations. It’s the time of year to bring out all the red, white and blue one can take. But I am NOT for cheesy decorations and/or food thats thrown together simply for the purpose of the obvious 4th of July decor. Let’s be honest, it can become a bit ‘cheesy’ at times. Pun intended.
Good news….that there are so many fruits and snacks that happen to naturally display the patriotic colors that you can throw together for a classy way to celebrate America’s independence. Charcuteries are kind of a must these days for ANY party. You can do so many things and everyone loves to graze a board filled with cheese, meats and snacks. You can always change things up with seasonal snacks or colors to fit so many types of parties. You can read all about how to put together the perfect Charcuterie Board here. You can also make dessert charcuterie board by filling your board with all the best sweets!

Assemble Your Charcuterie Board:
STEP 1: Start with ramekins or Dishes – I like to start with any sauces or jellies I will house in ramekins first. Here I put salsa in one and Raspberry Jam in another.
Ramekins // Raspberry Jam // Salsa // Wood Board
STEP 2: Add the Accompaniments – Add the food that accompany the ingredients in the ramekins next to them. I added the Blue Corn Chips next to the Salsa and the Blue Cheese next to the raspberry jam since they would go nicely together.
Blue Corn Chips // Salsa // Ramekins // Raspberry Jam // Blue Cheese // Wood Board
STEP 3: Add the Cheeses – I then like to add the rest of the cheeses to the board since they are usually the ‘star’ of the show. I wanted to make an easy-to-pick-up skewer to display the cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls. It just add some extra visual interest and texture to the board. I also used a cookie cutter to cut the cheddar slices into stars to further the theme!
Blue Corn Chips // Salsa // Raspberry Jam // White Cheddar // Brie // Blue Cheese // Star Cookie Cutter // Wood Board
STEP 4: Add the Meats & Crackers – I then add the meats and crackers. I just place them where there is still enough space to have enough to pair with the various cheeses.
Blue Corn Chips // Salsa // Raspberry Jam // White Cheddar // Brie // Blue Cheese // Star Cookie Cutter // Wood Board // Pepperoni // Water Crackers
STEP 5: Fill in the Empty Spaces with Fruits and Snacks – Once you have the main ingredients of meats and cheeses on the board. You can fill in the rest of the open spaces with all the fruits and snacks. Here I added sliced strawberries, blueberries, cherries, raspberries and yogurt raisins. Just try to spread out the colors.

This is so easy to throw together and fits the party theme perfectly without being over the top.
