3 Steps to making baked wings that are just as good as fried or grilled wings:

  • Pat the Wings. Make sure they dry your wings the best you can. Take a paper towel and pat them dry before adding any seasoning. This will help the skin to crisp up by not having the added water contribute to making a soggy wing.
  • Add baking powder to you spice mix. By adding a little baking powder into your dry mix, you help get a cripsier txture on the outside of your wing. One of the best parts about frying wings is the crispiness that comes from dropping them in hot oil. Baking powder helps get a similar texture when your baking.
  • BROILING: This is the best way to get that char you may crave in a grilled wing. After your baking and toss your wings in the sauce, sticking them under the broiler for 3-5 minutes to help get that char on the outside of the wing.
