Easter is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with some festive DIY decorations? Flocked Easter eggs are a fun and easy craft that can add a touch of whimsy and chicness to your holiday decor. I noticed how popular flocked ornaments and trees were around Christmas time, AND I am seeing those flocked bunnies everywhere. I wanted to try to bring that trend to my Easter eggs. I love to DIY eggs to help elevate my decor without spending a ton of money like these pretty Marbled Eggs or fun and colorful Tie Dyed Eggs. Flocking is just another fun twist to add to my collection. With just a few simple materials you probably have around your home, you can create your own flocked eggs that will be right on trend this Easter.

Gather Your Supplies:
- Craft Eggs
- Spray Paint (color of your choice – I used Krylon Sunrise and Krylon Bauhaus Gold)
- AP Flour
- Baking Soda
- Pastry Brush
- Gloves (optional)

Flock Your Eggs:
STEP 1: Mix together 1/2 cup all-purpose flour and 1/2 cup baking soda in a small bowl.
STEP 2: Spray paint your egg.
STEP 3: Quickly sprinkle flour/soda mixture over your freshly painted egg. You will want to do this 1 at a time as the mixture needs to adhere to wet paint.
STEP 4: Once you complete your eggs, take a pastry brush and wipe off any excess flour mixture.
