I love to make gift wrapping extra special. I truly believe that the gifts under your tree are just another from of Christmas Decorations. I like to coordinate all my my wrapping paper together as well as to the rest of my decorations. I also like to add little “happys” to the wrapping like mini ornaments tied on with a string for an extra little gift within a gift. This year I decided to make some special little gift name tags that could double as ornaments. The modeling clay you can buy in a craft store is so easy to work with as I have used it for many DIY projects like these Clay Ornaments or Herb Markers, so I knew I could use for this project as well. It’s a great way to add a personal touch to your gifts and provide a special keepsake fo your friends and family.
See Below for Step x Step Instructions (including pictures) on how to make these Clay Gift Tags!

Supplies for Clay Gift Tags:
- Modeling Clay
- Rubber Letter Stamps
- Rolling Pin
- String
- Paint (if desired) – You can totally leave these unpainted, but I wanted mine to be really white. You can paint them whatever color goes with your wrapping paper.
- Paintbrush
- Pen or Paint – I got a tiny brush and painted the words with gold. This is also totally unnecessary, but I wanted my names to stand out a bit.
