Food gifts are a must every holiday season. I love giving them and love receiving them. Who doesn’t love edible gifts at the holidays. It’s the time of year I allow myself to eat ALL the yummy treats with total abandon. It adds to the magic of the season, after all. One classic food gift, Mason Jar Cookie Mixes is a been around a long time. While I love the concept, I wanted an updated version that was a little more modern. I also love a multi-layered gift. I layered the cookie mix into a sealable plastic bag instead of a mason jar. I made a DIY Christmas Tea Towel to wrap around the bag. Once they make the cookies they can hang this lovely towel in their kitchen during the Christmas season. Your friends and neighbors will love the special touch.
