Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
Rinse chickpeas and place on paper towels to let them dry thoroughly.
In a bowl, toss chickpeas, olive oil and salt.
In a separate small bowl, mix together brown sugar, chili powder, seasoned salt, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder and black pepper.
Roast chickpeas in oven for 20 minutes.
Sprinkle BBQ seasoning over chickpeas and toss to coat.
Roast chickpeas for an additional 10 minutes or until brown, careful not to burn.
