I literally make rice krispie treats for almost every party I throw. They are easy, don’t require an oven, can be cut into any shape, and are ALWAYS a crowd-pleaser! You can see how I have used them here and here.
This recipe if my go-to recipe and takes them to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL. I love Salted Caramel anything, so when I first came across this recipe and knew I needed to try it and it did not disappoint.

RECIPE:
STEP 1: Stir together brown sugar, 2 tablespoons butter and condensed milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil.

STEP 2: Once this mixture is boiling, turn the heat to low and whisk continuously for about 5 minutes. It should be thick and golden brown.Saucepan
STEP 3: Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the sea salt flakes. Set aside.Saucepan
STEP 4: Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large pot and then add 1 bag of marshmallows and stir until melted.

STEP 4: Add salted caramel to the melted marshmallow mixture and stir until fully incorporated.

STEP 6: Pour the rice krispies into a 9×13 in pyrex and press down until they are even. Note: They will be hot, but you can use a piece of wax paper as a buffer when flattening out.Pyrex

Salted Caramel Rice Krispies
Ingredients
Salted Caramel Sauce
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sea salt flakes (I used Maldon)
Rice Krispies
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 package marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
Instructions

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in sea salt flakes. Set aside.

Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and the add 1 bag of marshmallows in a large pot. Stir until melted.

Add salted caramel to the melted marshmallow mixture and stir until fully incorporated.

Add Rice Krispies and gently mix until they are well coated.

Pour the Rice Krispie mixture into a buttered 9x13 pyrex and press down until they are even.
