Chex mix is one of those classic snack foods that seems like it has always been around. I know I have been eating it my whole life and definitely way before they sold it in bags at the grocery store. Back in my day you had to make it yourself. It also goes by many different names…”Trash” and “Nuts & Bolts”, I have heard it called so many things.
The things I love most about this classic snack is all the many flavors you can make it. You can literally turn it into ANY flavor you might be craving. In keeping with my obsession will all things Pumpkin during the fall months, today I am sharing the easiest recipe for Chex mix, utilizing a crockpot with the pumpkin spice flavor I can not get enough of.
Put this in a bowl at your next fall party or put it in little baggies to give away at Trunk or Treat. There not a good reason to NOT make this.
