It’s Super Bowl Party Week!!! I did recently find out who was playing, but still couldn’t tell you anything about them or who I may be going for. However, yall know by now how much I LOVVEEE to throw a party with a theme, so I am fully here for the SUPER BOWL!!
Now every Super Bowl party needs some wings. It’s like some kind of law right? It’s a definite must-have and this is one of my favorite recipes. I made these for the first time like 10 years ago and when I knew I wanted to share a chicken wing recipe this week, it’s the first one I thought of. It is spicy and sweet and just amazing. It requires deep frying and dunking into a sauce, so YOU KNOW it is G-O-O-D. I hope you enjoy!

Recipe:
STEP 1: Preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. I didn’t want my pan to get all sticky and messy, so I covered it in foil and then lined with parchment.
STEP 2: Combine flour, garlic powder, creole seasoning, salt and white pepper in a large bowl.
STEP 3: In another medium bowl, stir together hot sauce, honey and brown sugar until smooth. Set aside.
STEP 4: Dredge the wings in this flour mixture, shake off excess and let rest on a plate.
STEP 5: Heat vegetable oil in a large pot with a candy thermometer clipped to it to 350 degrees.
STEP 6: Once the oil is heated, dredge the chicken wings in the flour one more time…get that double dredge on…. shake of excess and then place into the oil. You will want to watch this and turn your stovetop up and down as needed to try to keep the oil as close to 350 degrees as possible.
STEP 7: Deep fry the wings for around 12 minutes or golden brown and crispy. They will start to float as well.
STEP 8: When the wings are crispy and golden, remove from oil, place onto a plate and pat dry.
STEP 9: Dip each wing into the sauce and place onto your prepared baking sheet.
STEP 10: Bake wings for another 12 minutes or until sauce is dry and caramelized.
Yalllllll. These wings are soooooo yummy. You will not be disappointed. What other food is a must have for your Super Bowl Party. Comment below:
