So, Halloween is probably gonna look a little different this year. Some folks may still be pretty uneasy to head door to door where lots of kids will be sticking their hand in large buckets of candy. Of course, Halloween seems to be perfectly suited for this global pandemic as most a lot of costumes require some sort of mask situation. However, if it makes you nervous, I am going to show you how to throw a super fun and festive Halloween Party this year in Lieu of Trick-or-Treating.
Invite some of your closest friends over and set up your house for a Spooktacular night! (I had to).

Halloween Party Supplies:
There is SO MANY fun themed partyware out there to keep your Halloween soiree on point. I like to mix theme-y items like “boo” napkins and spiderweb cups with a more classic black and white striped paper plate. That way you are completely over the top with the Halloween theme. Mix that with some orange utensils to bring in the classic Halloween colors. Add some fun balloons, spiderwebs and sprinkle in some skeleton head around. The RIP Tombstone cheeseboard below is EVERYTHING and so perfect for your party food table.

Halloween Activities:
1. Halloween Candy Bar:
Since kids won’t be going door to door, you HAVE to have a some sort of candy bar set up. Set up all your favs, in big glass jars or festive bowls. Make these cute pre-made bags or get some Halloween-themed bags and let the kids pick out their favorites from the bar. It doesn’t have to include only candy for those not wanting your kiddos on a complete sugar-high. You can also set out temporary tattoos or fun pumpkin glasses. Shop below for supplies:

2. DIY Pumpkins:
Set up a Pumpkin DIY station. You can go as simple as setting out paints and mini pumpkins for a younger crowd or carving tools for the older ones. You can have them try their hand at Marbled Pumpkins, by setting out the water and nail polish and letting them create their own. OR, for the littles, set out a tarp in the garage or backyard and let them go to town splattering paint all over to create these Splattered Pumpkins. You could even pre-tape some pumpkins and have everyone paint a Spiderweb Pumpkin with their favorite color to take home.

3. Decorate Your Own Halloween Cookies:
Set up a table in your dining room, put out one of the following cookie decorating sets and let people decorate their own cookies. There are so many pre-made sets out there, but you are more than welcome to make your own cookies and set Halloween-themed colored icing and sprinkles.
