DIY: MARBLED PUMPKINS

It’s DIY day!! Can I make that a thing?? Back in March, I made these beautiful easter eggs (click here to see them) that I knew I wanted to try the same technique on some other items. So in continuing my love of all things marble and non-cheesy Halloween/fall décor, I decided to use the marbling technique on some mini pumpkins. Yall. I looovveee these. They turned out really good. I did some in black and some in orange. Of course, I am partial to the black and white ones, but the orange adds a nice color pop in the middle of my black and white house. Also, these take just a few minutes to do and couldn’t be any cuter. Follow the directions below:

Affiliate links are used in my post. What does that mean? If you purchase through my link I will receive a small commission! However, I only ever recommend products/services that I absolutely LOVE and use myself! If you choose to support me through purchasing through my links allows me to continue to bring you info that you enjoy and hopefully use. So I thank you for any and all support.

WHAT YOU NEED:
Mini Pumpkins – I got these from Target – click here – or you can pick up at any craft store
Spray paint – I got mine at Joann’s – click here for what I used – COLORSHOT Premium Satin Spray Paint – Sugarcoat It
Nail polish – I got mine from Target
plastic container
toothpick

Step 1: Spray paint pumpkins white. You can get these craft pumpkins at most craft stores. I got mine from Target (click here to purchase those). I taped the stems of mine, because they were gold and I wanted to keep them that way.

Step 2:
Fill a container with lukewarm water. (It can’t be cold, because the nail polish will sink.)
Step 3:
Put a few drops of nail polish into the water. Swirl around with a toothpick.

Step 4:
Quickly dip the pumpkins into the container and pull out.

Step 5:
Place on a piece of wax paper to dry.
