Christmas time means lots of parties and gatherings! I end up making the most party foods all year in the month of December. I am always looking for new ideas and since this whole blog is focused on all the best recipes, DIY’s and designs to make your gatherings extra special, I decided to bring you a recipe for an amazing recipe to make for YOUR holiday party. These Honey Goat Cheese Balls are the perfect bite size snack to eat while listening to Mariah Carey Christmas and sipping on eggnog. The bold and tangy flavor of goat cheese mixes so well with the sweet honey drizzle, plus they are deep fried….and anything deep fried is good right? And when is a better time to have deep fried cheesy goodness than the holidays.

Recipe:
STEP 1: Set up 3 small bowls or containers.
STEP 2: In the first bowl, mix together flour and pepper.
STEP 3: In the second bowl, whisk together eggs, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 2 tablespoons water.
STEP 4: In the third bowl, mix panko crumbs and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
STEP 5: Pinch off about 1 tablespoon of goat cheese from the log and roll into balls. It will make about 24 balls. You want these to be slightly small because a little goat cheese goes a long way.

STEP 7: Place the balls in the freezer for 20 minutes.
STEP 8: Pour oil into a large pot or dutch oven. Heat to 350 degrees over medium-high heat.
STEP 9: Fry balls in batches for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
STEP 10: Drain fried balls on a paper towel.
STEP 11: Move goat cheese ball to a platter and drizzle with honey and sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
STEP 12: Serve immediately.
