DIY Drinkware to Add Drama to Your Fall Table

DIY Drinkware to Add Drama to Your Fall Table

Fall is right around the corner, y’all. I, personally, think it could not come soon enough. Fall is my happy place and after the crazy that is 2020, I need some happy this fall. Bring on all the pumpkin spice and autumn colors. I don’t care if you think I am basic, I LOVE it all. and need it all this year. Something that is definitely NOT basic, are these DIY Drinkware that you can make in literally 30 minutes. However, they look super fancy like you bought them at a really high-end shop. They add so much cool factor to your table. Now, this isn’t your typical fall colors, but I love the moodiness and drama it can add to a modern fall table. They are also perfect for a Halloween Dinner.

When creating this drinkware, I was originally trying to create a more ombre effect, but they didn’t exactly turn out that way, but I still love how the light hand in spray painting made them a matte look, yet still a little sheer. The type of spray paint you get it key.

Supplies for Painted Glassware

Supplies:

Non-Toxic Spray Paint – I think this matte paint is the way to go. You could really do any color for any occasion.
Drinkware Glasses – I picked mine up at Kroger on a random grocery run. You can get these from Amazon or these from Target. You could really use any shape or size. You could even do this on a decanter or pitcher.
Painters tape

Instructions:

STEP 1: Wrap painters tape around the top of your glasses. Make sure to cover every part you do not want to have paint.

Tape wrapped around glasses

STEP 2: Holding the can above the glasses (make sure you are pointing down towards the bottom of the glass and spray paint the glasses. I did not try to get these fully covered  as I was trying to go more ombre effect, and I think using a light hand with the paint was great for creating the slightly sheer yet matte look of these glasses.

STEP 3: Allow to dry and remove tape.
