Chickpeas. I LOVE them. I know they have grown in popularity in recent years and I ain’t mad about it. They are great for you and can be used in so many ways. There is the obvious use for hummus, but did you know you can roast them as a crunchy snack and are very similar to a nut. I have made them a few times for different types of parties, because it is another one of those easy recipes you can throw together so quickly and it mostly uses pantry staples. You can throw any kind of seasoning together which provides endless possibilities for whatever flavor you may need to add to your party table.
Here I chose to do a BBQ seasoning because, well, its just good. Its that simple. Remember, entertaining is meant to be fun, not complicated and this recipe is definitely not complicated but has a big flavor impact. And my 2 year old loves to eat them as a snack, so that’s a bonus!
