They nothing more “fall” to me, than a hot cup of apple cider. Put that flavor into a dessert and I am done. This Apple Cider Pound Cake is super moist and the most perfect dessert for Thanksgiving or even into Christmas. If you are still deciding on your Thanksgiving desserts for this year, do yourself a favor and add this to it. Not only is it very easy to throw together and will be a total crowd pleaser. I have yet to meet someone who didn’t love it.

Glass Bowls / Glass Measuring Cup
Recipe:
STEP 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a large Bundt pan.
STEP 2: Add all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl and whisk until combined.
STEP 3: In a separate bowl, add 1 1/2 cups sugar, apple cider, olive oil, applesauce, vanilla and eggs and whisk until combined.
STEP 4: Pour the egg mixture into the flour mixture and mix until just combined.
STEP 5: Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
STEP 6: Bake cake for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
STEP 7: Allow the cake to cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Invert onto wire rack.
STEP 8: Mix together ¼ cup sugar and ½ teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl.
STEP 9: Melt butter and brush evenly onto the warm cake. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

STEP 10: Let cake cool completely.

Apple Cider Pound Cake

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon divided
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups sugar divided
- 1 cup apple cider
- 3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 3/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
