Marbled White Chocolate Heart Pops

I am continuing in the theme of Valentine’s Day today (and the next few posts leading up to the day of LOVE). I am going to show you how to make an edible valentine that is almost too pretty to eat. If you know me at all, you know how much I love anything marbled. Like Marbled Easter eggs, Marbled pumpkins, Marbled Christmas Ornaments, etc. It’s my jam. Last year I played around with marbling chocolate and made these Marbled Chocolate Covered Oreos. It truly is as easy as swirling a spoon around, but looks super fancy and will impress your Valentine.

Also, I can’t tell you how much I love a good mold. If I knew how easy it was to make beautiful pops, Oreos or other shapes out of chocolate, I would have done it years ago. They are great for making favors for parties, showers or gifts. See below how you take a simple heart mold and make some beautiful edible valentines.

Supplies needed:

Heart Mold – I used this one and this one
Food Coloring Gel – I used Soft Pink because…you know, Valentines Day. I like these 3 options: Americolor, Sunny Side Up, & Chefmaster Natural Coloring
Ghiradelli White Chocolate Melting Wafers – You can by Candy melts. I have used them in the past, but a high quality white chocolate is totally worth it.
Popsicle Sticks

Heart Mold / Popsicle Sticks / Food Coloring / White Chocolate Melting Wafers

Instructions:

STEP 1: Melt white chocolate according to package directions. You can do this in the microwave or over a double boiler. Either way, becareful not to overheat. There is no going back.

STEP 2: Squeeze 3-4 dots of food coloring into the melted white chocolate.

STEP 3: Take your spoon and gently swirl the food coloring around in the white chocolate, until you get a nice marbling effect. Don’t completely mix it in. It will continue to marble a bit when you pour it.Bowl

STEP 4: Pour into the molds, tap to settle chocolate and refrigerate until hardened.

Heart Mold / Popsicle Sticks

Rocket Science, right? Are they pretty?? Package them into a little bag with a ribbon wrapped around it. Stick in gift box with a label. They would be great to pass out to teachers, co-workers or friends. See below how I packaged them.
