The Ultimate Homemade Ice Cream Recipe Round-Up

Did you know that July is National Ice Cream Month?? Ice cream just so happens to be one on my favorite desserts on earth and I may or may not be drowning my 2020 sorrows in big bowls of it from time to time, especially when it is homemade! Making homemade ice cream was one of my favorite childhood memories. We usually stuck to classic vanilla, but I do remember breaking away from the the norm to make cookies ‘n cream a few times and thinking it was such a special treat.

Last summer, I got on a homemade ice cream kick and posted a new ice cream recipe every Friday the entire summer. Mostly because I LOVE ICE CREAM, but also because there were so many fun flavors I wanted to try, I used it as an excuse (or experiment, if you will) to make ALL the fun flavors.

In honor of National Ice Cream Month, I did a round-up of allllll the flavors of Ice Cream I have posted about and compiled it all into one ultimate list just for YOU.

Biscoff Ice Cream

Have you ever flown Delta and eaten the deliciousness that is a Biscoff cookie. Did you know they created a spread made out of said deliciousness. Did you know I made a homemade ice cream that utilized the great goodness that is Biscoff spread. It is so buttery with the loved spiced spread flavor. It’s just really good and you will LOVE it.

Jeni’s Roasted Pistachio Ice Cream

This is probably one my favorites of all the Ice Cream flavors I have made. Jeni is a genius with packing flavor into her ice creams. You make a pistachio paste and mix it in which makes this the MOST flavorful version of pistachio ice cream ever.

Banana Buttered Pecan Ice Cream

This is my husbands favorite ice cream and it really is heard to beat. You take a rich caramel base, add in some smashed bananas for a fruity bite and top it off with salty buttered pecans for one of the better flavor combos ever.

Mexican Chocolate Ice Cream

Sweet & Spicy is my jam which is why I love a good mexican chocolate with hints of cinnamon and cayenne. This ice cream ain’t no joke though and probably not gonna be your kids favorite. It’s a rich dark chocolate with a REAL spicy kick and I L-O-V-E it.

Peach Ice Cream

It’s summer in a cup. Peaches are in season right now, so pick up some Peach Truck peaches and make this light, fruity sunshine in ice cream form.

Jeni’s Honeyed Peanut Butter Ice Cream with Chocolate Freckles

While I was a Baskin Robbins loyalist as a child, Jeni’s has become my favorite ice cream shop as an adult (don’t worry, I still love Baskin). Jeni was kind enough to create a cookbook for the home cook to recreate some of the amazing flavors your find in her shop. I have tried a few and this in one of muh faves!

Toasted Marshmallow Ice Cream

If you love to catch your marshmallow on fire before sliding it between 2 graham crackers, then this is the ice cream for you. You actually toast marshmallows to your heart’s desire and melt them down into this full of flavor ice cream.

Butterfinger Ice Cream

Are you like me and love ice cream with toppings mixed in. I always enjoy a crunchy bite in the midst of rich cream. Butterfingers are a great addition to this peanut butter based ice cream.

The OG Vanilla Ice Cream

This right here is the OG of homemade ice creams. This is the vanilla ice cream that I grew up making. It is so nostalgic and the perfect vanilla recipe if you are looking for a classic flavor.
