4th of July is this weekend and we all need a reason to throw a party. Though we may need to keep our parties small and at home, we can still celebrate! July 4th is always so fun because most celebrations take place outdoors and include a grill and just really lends itself to be over the top festive! This week I will be focusing on party foods and ideas for more Independence Day fun!
If you have followed me at all, you know I always serve popcorn at parties, showers, etc. It’s the perfect crowd pleasing party food. Today’s popcorn recipe is perfect for summer with all the flavors of a smoky barbecue rub. Plus…BONUS…I have included a FREE printable for a popcorn cone for the cutest way to display your popcorn.

Recipe:
STEP 1: Pop a couple of bags of popcorn and place 15 cups of popcorn in a large bowl.
STEP 2: Melt butter in a saucepan or microwave. Add worcestershire sauce and stir to combine.
STEP 3: Add smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, and salt together in a small bowl to make a BBQ seasoning. Mix in sugar and Set aside.
STEP 4: Pour butter mixture over popcorn and gently stir until all popcorn is covered.
STEP 5: Sprinkle BBQ seasoning mixture over popcorn and gently tossed until covered with seasoning.

STEP 3: Roll square paper into a cone and secure with double-sided tape.

Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika

- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
Instructions
