Hey friends! As a lover of good design in ALL things, I love making beautifully curated baskets and gifts. I don’t think we have to succumb to the gaudy, brightly colored, kitschy holiday items out there. William Morris said, “Have nothing in your house that do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”
I’ve always loved that quote as I like to find beauty in all things, including baskets and even kids toys! They are SO MANY OPTIONS out there in the world of retail. You can find really cool stuff that your kids will really enjoy that don’t clutter your home with another cheap, plastic toy!

1.Petit Collage Shine Bright at the Studio Magnetic Dress up and Play Set – I love Petit Collage. They have beautuful toys. We have several of their puzzles. This is so cool, like a modern paper doll.
2. Yoobie Mermaid Glitter Sidewalk Chalk – They are constantly playing with sidewalk chalk at school. What girl doesn’t love shimmer and mermaids. The stencils that come with this are so cute.
3. Antsy Pants – Felt Strawberries – I love this brand at Target. I had gotten Eden the donuts last year. She loves to play in her kitchen, so I love finding all the cutest “fake food”. These strawberries are presh!
4. Little People Big Dreams Books – Coco Channel & Ella Fitzgerald – I ALWAYS give books. Reading is so important and I love these Little People Big Dreams books for all the little ones.
5. Unicorn Egg Decorating Kit – What child doesnt love a Unicorn these days??!? They will love decorating eggs like one!
6. Sequin Bunny Pillow – I love these sequins that change colors depending on which direction you rub them. I don’t know why, but I am fascinated. Most of them I have found have been a bit gaudy, but I thought this bunny was super cute!
7. Stickers – Eden is obsessed with stickers. She insists on picking one out every morning before school. This Dreaming in Color sticker book and Holographic Sticker Book have really cool ones.
8. Coloring and Activity Books – Target makes a version of this Spring themed every year and it perfect to stick into an Easter Basket.
9. Yoobi Coloring Pencils – These are so cool, I wanna keep them for myself.
COOL EASTER GIFTS FOR THE LITTLE MEN
1. Melissa & Doug Water WOW! Animals – These are sooooo popular right now. They are a lifesaver when traveling, too.
2. Books – Start reading to those little ones early and maybe they will grow up to love it!! I love Love is a Truck (Eden has Love is a Tutu, which I also love) and a Little People, Big Dreams book about David Bowie.
3. Bouncing Balls – Boys love balls! These Easter themed ones are so cute!
4. Antsy Pants – Felt Eggs – These are so cute. You get a carton of eggs that you can crack to reveal the felt eggs inside. Genius.
5. Mix & Match Animal Blocks – Not only do they teach your kiddos about animals, but they make the sounds too. The design is also really good.
6. Hape Little Autos – Boys love cars and these wooden ones are so, so cute.
7. Soft Lion & Tiger Toy – How cute are these plush animals. I think they are the cutest and look more boyish than most.
8. Mudpuppy Pouch Puzzle – We love these puzzles. They are easy for toddler and so easy to keep all the pieces together with the pouches. They are easy to throw in a bag to have out when you need to occupy your kids!

1. Ooly Brilliant Bee Crayons – Kids love to color and these crayons are the coolest.
2. Bubble Wands – Are your kids as obsessed with bubbles as much as mine are. Every minute of every day.
3. Pantone Board Books – I love these design friendly books that teach your little ones about color. Seriously cool.
4. Sidewalk Chalk – Everyone enjoys drawing on a sidewalk and I love Yoobi and everything they make.
5. Jellycat Bunny – These are THE BEST bunnies. They are so soft and Eden still sleeps with the one she got when she was 1 month old.
