Y’all know I love Homemade marshmallows as I have made Peppermint Marshmallows in the past and even Espresso Marshmallows! They are just way more simple to make then you might think and are sooooo much better than the store-bought versions. I promise, once you start making these, you will never go back. In this post, I’ll guide you through making these fluffy delights, using the rich and classic Christmas flavors of eggnog to your holiday sweets.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons gelatin
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup eggnog
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- nutmeg

Step-by-Step Instructions:
STEP 1: Line a 8×8 inch cake pan with parchment paper and butter or spray with cooking spray.
STEP 2: Pour water in the bowl of stand mixer and sprinkle the gelatin over it to bloom. Set aside while you prepare the rest.
STEP 3: Add sugar, eggnog, maple syrup to a medium saucepan and clip candy thermometer to it.
STEP 4: Heat mixture over medium heat and stir until sugar dissolves. Once sugar dissolves, cook without stirring until candy thermometer reaches 240 degrees, usually about 8-10 minutes.
STEP 5: Once it reaches 240 degrees, turn the stand mixer on low and slowly add the hot sugar mixture to the mixer bowl.
STEP 6: Turn the mixer to high and beat until the mixture becomes thick and fluffy, about 10 minutes.
STEP 7: Add vanilla and mix until combined.
STEP 8: Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth out with an oiled spatula.
STEP 9: Set aside for 8 hours or overnight, uncovered.
STEP 10: Mix together powdered sugar and cornstarch.
STEP 11: Butter a serrated knife and cut marshmallows into squares.
STEP 12: Toss in the sugar/cornstarch mixture and dust with nutmeg.
