Valentine’s is less about celebrating LOVE and more about eating chocolate, right?!? This year, I will be making my OWN Chocolate Hearts with all my favorite toppings. Several years ago, I discovered you could melt chocolate into any mold and it makes beautiful and fun shapes for any occasion. I now use chocolate molds for every party I do….see chocolate music notes in Music Themed 1st Birthday Party or Super Hero inspired pops in “Super Hero” Birthday Party. I could never forget the super sweet Ballerina pops for the Ballerina Themed Birthday Party. I even discovered you could add some fun marbling techniques like these White Chocolate Heart Pops and then cover the beloved Oreo in the same thing. They really make you look impressive without very much work.
I decided to make Valentine’s Day extra special this year….because we all need reasons to celebrate big….and make my own chocolate candies. I wanted to use all my favorite toppings like chopped nuts, toffee bits, sprinkles and more.
See below for step x step instructions (with pictures) on how to make your own Homemade Chocolate Hearts this Valentine’s Day!
