“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers” – Anne of Green Gables. October is magical. I love the red & yellow leaves. I love the pumpkin patches. I love the sweaters and boots. I love the pumpkin spice lattes. I LOVE ALL THE THINGS that make me #basic and I have zero shame about it. Oh, how I LOVE fall. I love seeing all the sweet children in their costumes walking around with the candy-filled pumpkins. Than there is November. I love transitioning those jack-o-lanterns in to turkey themed décor. I love preparing dishes all month for a holiday centered around getting together with loved ones and eating ridiculous amounts of food. It just bring me ALL the joy.
With the beginning of this holiday season being upon us, who of us has spent WAY too much time and money roaming the aisles of Target buying all the newest holiday decorations. I just like to get really festive this time of year. However, I can’t get on board with the cheesy, bright orange and black décor you see out and about.
Thankfully, most of the stores out there do a lot right when it comes to fall décor and I am showing you my favorite items of the year that I have spotted thus far.
Affiliate links are used in my post. What does that mean? If you purchase through my link I will receive a small commission and it doesn’t change the price for you at all! I really like to keep it pretty simple at Thanksgiving. I love white pumpkin places all over the house and a simple, neutral color palette with pops of fall colors throughout. I like to keep things modern but add in some natural elements. Below you will see some things out there this season that do all of that.
