I fully embrace all things fall! Being my favorite season, I jump right into all the things: Pumpkins, colorful leaves, sweaters and booties, pumpkin spice lattes and apple cider and ALL THE FALL FLAVORS! I recently made some pulled pork for a bonfire and I knew I wanted fall flavors because I love a theme and want any excuse to make something with my fav flavors. I cooked the pork in spices and apple cider and knew I needed a fall-y BBQsauce to go with. It’s so easy to make your own sauce and THIS one was perfect for an October or November bonfire.
STEP 1: Mix together all the ingredients in a large pot.
STEP 2: Bring to a boil, then reduce and simmer until reduced and thickened to desired consistency. You will want to stir it occasionally. This will take at least 20-30 minutes.
