It’s that time of year once again! Time to pull out all those pumpkins, skull heads or earth toned accessories. Time to make your yearly quick trip to Target that result in spending $237 on fall themed decor. I heart fall! Since, we are still living in the ol’ apt., I will be living vicariously through all the instagram posts of perfectly styled bookshelves flanked with all the skeletons and pumpkins that my heart so desires. I still want to show you the 3 best fall decor trends of 2022, so I can continue to pour salt into my apartment life wound. I kid, I kid. But my heartache is your reward, because I still wanted to pretend and put together some amazing looks of the biggest trends for the year.

Trend #1: Spooky Chic
Black and White is always my jamb (I am predictable, I know). But it is so chic, especially for Halloween, to stick to the classic color combo to help bring a modern look to your home. The skull head planter, spider tea light holder and black branch wreath add a spooky Halloween touch, but in a super chic way.

Trend #2: Earth Tones
You can never go wrong with earth tones in the fall. I mean just look outside at the changing leaves. It’s just the way God intended it. The ever so popular rust color is huge this year and quite perfect for this fall. Earth tones allow you to stretch your decor into November as we celebrate one of my fav holidays, Thanksgiving. The warm earthy hues make me happy as temps start to cool and my cravings for butternut squash soup (made inside a pumpkin shaped soup bowl, of course) come in hot. Pun intended. Add a few touches of gold and cream and you have a perfect setting to bring in the new season.

Trend #3: Fall for Monochromatic
Monochromatic can be so chic when done well. I love the creams and whites you can find out there. Finding unique items, like the bleached eucalyptus wreath, sherpa pillows with a skeleton hand design or gourd shaped salt & pepper shakers make this one color theme anything but boring.
