DIY Valentine’s Candy Bags

It’s Day 2 of my Valentines Day countdown! Today, I am showing you a fun, realllly cute and quick way to up your Valentines game. My lady is at the age now where she has to bring Valentine’s to school and I wanted to come up with some cute homemade options that her friends will really enjoy instead of some little piece of paper that they (or their moms – guilty) will throw away later.
Now I know what you are thinking….It’s so easy just to pick up a box at Target and be done with it.
This is easy, too. Trust me. You can order everything from Amazon prime and spend 10 minutes putting together.

Affiliate links are used in my post. What does that mean? If you purchase through my link I will receive a small commission! However, I only ever recommend products/services that I absolutely LOVE and use myself! If you choose to support me through purchasing through my links allows me to continue to bring you info that you enjoy and hopefully use. So I thank you for any and all support.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Muslin Bags – Buy HERE from Amazon
Stamps – I got my heart ones from Paper Source – see
HERE
, HERE & HERE & I had the letter ones left over from my Christmas Ornament (see that post here) and get them from Joann’s – see HERE
Craft Paint – You can buy any craft store. I got mine from Joann’s – I used THIS, THIS, THIS & THIS
Candy

INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP 1: Paint your stamp with craft paint of your choice.

STEP 2: Press muslin bag with the stamp.

More than 500 rubber stamps

STEP 3: Fill bag with candy.

See. It is that easy. Add a little tag with your child’s name and you are done. Easy and sooooo much cuter than a paper Valentine from the drugstore, right? Also, they can re-use these bags. I use bags like this to pack jewelry when I travel. Double use is always a good idea. Check back for more DIY Valentine’s over the next couple of weeks.
