It seems like wings and the Super Bowl go hand in hand. It almost feels like it is a sin not to serve them are you Super Bowl Party. But, we are also rounding out the end of the first month of the beginning of the year. Aren’t we all on a health kick right now? Are we all still watching what we are eating? If you are still working on that waistline or wanting to watch what you eat (or if you are a vegetarian), here is an alternative to enjoy this weekend while you watch the big game.

Recipe:
STEP 1: Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
STEP 2: Prepare a baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.
STEP 3: In a medium bowl, whisk all-purpose flour, almond milk, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes together until a batter is formed.
STEP 4: Place the panko crumbs in a small bowl.
STEP 5: Dip each piece of cauliflower into the batter, shaking off excess, and then tossing in the panko crumbs until completely coated.
STEP 6: Repeat until all all done and placed on the prepared baking sheet.
STEP 7: Bake cauliflower for 22 minutes.
STEP 8: Prepare the sauce by adding maple syrup, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, sesame seeds, black pepper and ground ginger to a small saucepan.
STEP 9: Heat sauce for a few minutes or until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and its heated through.
STEP 10: Once the wings are finished baking, use a pastry brush and brush sauce onto the wings.
STEP 11: Bake or broil the wings for another 5 minutes to caramelize the sauce a bit. Sprinkle with more sesame seeds, if desired.
