Ok, ok. So this isn’t technically a “Christmas” recipe. However, it is a great recipe to make for Christmas parties or Christmas food gifts. It’s a great appetizer to put out for people to eat on as you open gifts or pre-dinner snacking. I recently made these for a church function and because you can cut them into any shape, I used Christmas cookie cutters and they turned out so cute. This is one of my go to recipes for a lot of showers and parties. See “Eden’s 1st Birthday Party” and “Boy’s Rock Baby Sprinkle“. They are so easy and delicious and can be made to fit any theme. Enjoy!
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line baking sheets with parchment or Silpat Baking Mat.
Step 2: Put shredded cheese, butter, worcestershire, paprika, salt and cayenne in a stand mixer and mix until combined. (note: If these are for adults only, I put in a little more than a pinch of cayenne because I love spicy cheddar crackers)
Step 3: Add flour gradually until blended and dough forms.
Step 4: Shape dough into a ball with floured hands.
Step 5: Roll dough out flat on a floured surface.
Step 6: Cut out crackers in any shape. (here i used Christmas shaped Cookie Cutters)
Step 7: Place on baking sheets and bake for 12 minutes.
Step 8: Let cook on wire rack and enjoy!
